Departure Time: 1.30 - 3.00pm

Enjoy a relaxing lunch as we stroll through the historic streets of Fremantle while listening to the therapeutic sounds of two majestic Clydesdales. See well known tourist sites such as the Round House, Fremantle Shipwreck Museum, Notre Dame University, the famous Cafe Strip plus a look at some less known, but very interesting, streets of the inner city.

Come and enjoy some special time and memorable moments with your family and friends.

Our carriage provides a romantic setting for that special night... or grab a group of friends and book the entire carriage for yourselves.

Whatever the occasion, you can be rest assured that you will have a memorable night out and be safely returned home to the Esplanade Hotel by our mighty Clydesdales, Sonny & Mate.

Clydesdale Dining guests

Receive a 10% discount for the Breakaway Package only which starts from $295 a night in a standard guest room and consist of one nights accommodation, breakfast the next day for two and valet parking for 1 car.

All Departures: Go straight to the dining carriage at the front entrance of the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle, when it arrives.

Terms & Conditions of travel
  1. BYO Wine and limited beer (due to reduced storage areas - no eskies) as no alcohol can be purchased on the dining carriage.
  2. All major credit cards accepted.
  3. Full payment must be made at least 14 days before your reservation date. We reserve the right to cancel the booking should full payment not be received. A cancellation within 7 days of a reservation is subject to a 10% administration fee. Cancellation inside 48 hours - 100% fee applies. Absence (no show) 100% fee applies.
  4. The specific details, timings and routes may be altered at the sole discresion of Clydesdale Dining should any unforeseen circumstance arise, including extreme weather conditions.
  5. No smoking on the dining carriage.
  6. All prices are in Australian dollars and include all taxes (Goods & Services Tax - GST).
  7. The carriage requires a minimum number of bookings prior to a scheduled departure.
  8. Children 2yrs of age and under are unable to board the carriage as no child restraints are fitted.
